Smoked Seafood  

NorQuest has been producing gourmet Alaskan smoked seafood in Alaska, under the Silver Lining brand, since 1982. Our proximity to salmon resources gives us the ability to select the finest quality salmon for smoking and offer it to our valued customers.   Our Port Chatham division has been producing smoked seafood since 1935 under the Porlock and Pacific Select labels.  NorQuest produces a full spectrum of smoked products for food service, retail, ingredient processing, the seafood case, specialty gift shops, and mail order. These products include:

Cold smoked salmon:

The salmon harvested from Alaska's waters is world renowned for its excellent freshness, color and flavor. NorQuest utilizes troll coho from Southeast Alaska and sockeye salmon from the famous Copper River for our lox program.

Hot smoked salmon:

Salmon is hot-smoked in the traditional method - lightly salted and slowly smoked with fragrant alder wood. The end result is delicious, flaky in texture and ready to serve and eat.

Shelf stable smoked salmon:

NorQuest produces smoked salmon in Ready to serve pouches and cans for the specialty food and gift trade.
